OUR COMMITMENT TO TOTAL QUALITY CUSTOM MOTORCYCLES
As a manufacturer of motorcycles, we strive to provide our customers with beautiful, high performing, high quality, and safe machines. It is our responsibility to meet and exceed our customers’ expectations by the use of the highest quality components, assembled by highly skilled, trained and certified professionals, backed by systems to ensure and enhance the quality of their endeavors.
Quality policy
Our products are produced through a commitment to Total Quality, that is,
a system that assures quality is built-in, not 'inspected-in'.

engineering liaison
While we have engineer on staff, we also retain the services of an external Automotive Engineer who acts as an external peer-reviewer. This Engineer recommends best practice in the design and construction of our motorcycles; advises, through regular visits and by observing our activities, whether the standards articulated in our internal procedures and industry best practice are being followed; and advises whether the requirements of external agencies and legislative bodies are being met.
purchasing policy
It is imperative that our component manufacturers have a track-record of proven quality, that they are able and willing to repair or replace components for warranty purposes, that there is a high likelihood that they will still be in operation years from now for repair or replacement, and that they will communicate with us in the event of a product recall.
For these reasons, the Purchasing Policy of Havoc Motorcycles is as follows:
1. We give preference to North American and European component manufacturers who have a proven track-record in the motorcycle industry. Currently, some 90% of our components are manufactured in North America, by us, or by North American suppliers.
2. We purchase only components from manufacturers that carry certifications including the ISO, DOT, or TUV where such certifications are required, and if not required, where additional confidence in the quality of the components is provided by having such certification.
3. We develop quality relationships with component suppliers. Relationships are critical in respect of prioritization in product delivery, in being alerted to recalls of the product or any other potential hazards that we must be aware of in a timely manner.

vehicle assembly technicians
Vehicle Assembly Technicians are at the front-line of ensuring quality in the manufacturing process.
It is our Policy that:
1. Every motorcycle shall be assembled by, or under the supervision of, a qualified mechanical technician who holds a Red Seal certification.
2. They follow the requirements of our Quality Build Sheets, noting the second check of work where appropriate, and taking note of serial numbers and other information required for record keeping.

quality checks and final approval
Final Quality Checks comprise:
1. An engineering Inspection. Every motorcycle is inspected by the duly appointed engineering inspector in the Province of Prince Edward Island. Motorcycles are released to customers only once the Engineer has documented approval of the vehicle in a letter to Management. This inspection is lodged in the Vehicle Dossier.
2. A Motor Vehicle Safety Inspection. Every motorcycle, is inspected to the Road Safety Standards by an unrelated third party testing center. Every motorcycle has an inspection sticker duly affixed and the certificate lodged in the Vehicle Dossier.
3. A Satisfactory Road Test. Every motorcycle is road tested, either on the public roads under a Dealer Plate, or on a closed course circuit. The road test includes speeds at normal highway traffic, and provides an opportunity for testing the function of major components including drive-train, steering, suspension, and brakes. For this reason, your new Havoc Motorcycle's odometer will show a small number of test miles when you receive your motorcycle.
